A venue for systematic sharing among Marxist-Leninist and/or socialist parties and groups, of their theoretical views on comprador and bureaucrat capitalism, its class basis, its key role as an essential tool of imperialist stranglehold on the neocolonies, and its implications on the character, strategy and tactics of the national liberation movements (NLM) and practical mass movements in these neocolonies.
The Fourth International Theoretical Conference is about Comprador and Bureaucrat Capitalism in the Neocolonies. It is co-organized by the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) and the Communist Party Marxist – Kenya (CPMK). This conference serves as a gathering point for ML parties, socialist groups and national liberation movements to discuss and systematically share their theoretical views on comprador and bureaucrat capitalism in their own country contexts.
The takeoff point of this theoretical conference is that in the neocolonies of imperialism, the prevailing mode of production (MOP) is semifeudal. The theoretical conference will thus begin, in summarized form, with a rationale for this view of semifeudalism as MOP.
The theoretical conference welcomes participants who use Marxist frameworks for their analysis of their own country’s MOP and class structure, or who wish to pursue specific theoretical questions about how the semifuedal MOP critique applies to various countries or in general across the globe.
